I was very anxious about my condition but i have to say that i was put at ease by Mr Sadek and Mr Elliot. I found that i could ask anything and get a straight answer. At no time did i feel i was a spoken down to, i was treated like an equal, i have had a few operations in my time and have been treated as though i should not question anything the consultant was telling me. Mr Sadek's kind and funny approach was like a breath of fresh air, which in turn made me relaxed and have total faith in him and his team to operate on me. My care through the whole time in hospital(Georges) Was superb.i would also like to say on a personal note that Mr Sadek P.A Julie Salter has gone above and beyond for me when i needed specific questions Answered .Nothing was too much trouble. So as you can proberbly gather i have as far as i am concearned been treated with respect, kindness and amazing understanding. How lucky are we to have such a great team working for our wonderful NHS.

He was very attentive and supportive from the outset and was very helpful in getting me an MRI very swiftly given the urgency of my particular situation. He was very clear on the prognosis and seeking additional buy in from other experts before carrying out the surgery. He was also very responsive and supportive post operation and his office was always on hand to help.

I have only positive things to say about Mr Sadek, he is an excellent doctor and wonderful person. I have been having back pain problems and sciatica so I initially arranged a phone consultation with him. We agreed to do an MRI scan and then had a follow up consultation. From start to finish he was very professional, thorough and attentive to my problem and was very clear about his instructions and suggestions on how I could resolve it. On top of that he was very pleasant, reassuring and kind, which helped build up my confidence on him even more. His team were also very helpful and professional, they helped me book the consultations and MRI and I am grateful to them. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Mr Sadek, I just wish that all my interactions with doctors are as straightforward, pleasant and thorough.

Mr Sadek performed complex spinal surgery on me and the outome was very successful. Before the surgery, he gave me a very clear and understandable explanation of what was involved. He sensitively explaned the risks of such surgery and gave me time to absorb the information so I could make an informed decision about going ahead. Clearly his surgical knowledge and skill for my procedure is of the highest calibre, but I also found him to show a very caring and kind approach to me and my situation. I didnt not feel like 'just another patient'. I felt he was interested in me, my lifestyle and my family so he could do his best for me and get me back to my normal level of activity and resume my life. His approach instilled a level of trust that I can honestly say helped me face my surgery which was major and I was frightened. I have already told him that he is a wonderful human being and I stand by that! Mr Sadek's PA Julie Salter, is a valuable and equally kind and caring member of his team. She kept in touch with me, keeping me informed of arrangements and even went above and beyond several times by responding to my emails and calling me on days she wasnt working. She was genuinely committed to making my pathway to surgery as smooth and as informed as she could. It was apparent that she has a very full on, busy role but once again She assured me to just call if there was anything I needed o discuss. Once again I felt cared for and supported. She is a special lady and a credit to Mr Sadek and Queens hospital. I cannot reccomend both of them enough.
